My original comment was in response to Sherman’s post, which I argue has unnecessarily highlighted a minority in the community which opens routes to hate and alienation.

@NLaughingfox @site_42 I agree, but I think Sherman shouldn’t have made this post, as it attracted the insufferable side of twitter as this kind of post usually does. I’m confident in saying most of us don’t mind trans people, but just as we do, they should just exist statically without a huge notice.
