i like the concept of soulmates-not a "you're destined to meet me, and love me" kind of soulmate, but a "i'd pick you, every time." kind of soulmate. a "no matter what happens, and what has happened, i want to go through it with you." kind of soulmate. a "i love you by choice, and you're a blessing, and i'm going to continue thinking about you this way not because i have to but because i want to." kind of soulmate. a "you help me rest easy when everything is difficult" kind of soulmate. a "in every possible outcome, i want you there, to share it with me." kind of soulmate.
It’s actually very attractive to ask for clarity instead of pretending you’re cool with things being confusing.
It’s actually very attractive to be your passionate oddball self instead of watering yourself down to seem chill.
It’s actually very attractive to say you want to spend more time together instead of worrying if it’ll make you seem needy.
It’s actually very attractive to know what you want and to not be subtle about it.

Bungie deserves to be shut down. Bungie deserves to go under and be totally absorbed by Sony.
Bungie is literally the first company in video game history to retroactively delete hundreds of dollars worth of content people purchased.
World of Warcraft has been around for over a decade longer than destiny 2 and has never had to delete part of its own game because of “data bloat.” Which is a pathetic excuse considering the game has DOZENS OF GIGABYTES OF UNCOMPRESSED MUSIC FILES.
Bungie literally ROBBED players of data THEY PURCHASED, then turned its flagship game into a cash shop. You open D2 and it goes straight to eververse.
They present themselves as some anti-capitalist progressive company. Meanwhile they have now settled TWO LAWSUITS OVER IP THEFT. 1 FOR DESTINY 2 AND ONE FOR MARATHON. It’s a joke and the whole org needs to be gutted by Sony.
I hope marathon fails so it bankrupts those frauds and makes every developer there that worked to delete content they stole from players go to the unemployment line.
Fuck Bungie for what they did. The people that made halo are long gone and it’s a hollow of its former self.
- NO preview stills of Kate from S4
- NO bts pics/footage of Simone
- Simone had to tell to us herself that she was in S4
- Simone being the only previous cast member to be demoted to “Additional Cast Member”
Why is that @netflix@NetflixUK@bridgerton@byshondaland ?
discord’s age verification vendor Persona just got hacked.
openAI + US government + persona have been running identity surveillance since nov 2023
anyone who verified age on discord is now traceable.
nothing is private anymore.

The UN just told us that the damage to our water systems is irreversible. Water wars will likely occur in our lifetime. But by all means keep using Chat GPT to write your comments and reviews. Forget that your greatest expressions as a human are your communication and creativity.
@BarackObama It would be really helpful if everyone understood the stakes.

some notes from actively trying to make close friends for the past 7 years:
- deep talks are overrated. closeness is felt not heard. do stuff together, happy and sad. the deep talks are a byproduct that'll happen naturally but you can't talk your way into closeness
- it's paradoxical but the only way to make a close friend is to treat them like you're already best friends. if you meet someone you like, think about how you'd treat this if you're already close. you wouldn't think twice about double texting or calling or asking them to hang.
- everyone is lonely even people you think are way cooler or richer or otherwise better than you. everyone wants oxytocin and a pack. everyone poops.
- put less pressure on each hang. abundance mindset in you know that you'll always be able to hang again in life. life is long, everyone will be around you for 10 years minimum, you're going to sit on rocking chairs and talk shit about the neighbours when you're 70. it's ok if you have arguments or multi year solo arcs. that's grandpa lore.
- expect nothing and give like you're competing in a giving competition. don't look for anything in return. you will feel taken advantage of a lot, then you'll realize giving is super fun. people want to feel wanted not needed, and putting expectations on others for them to fulfil means giving them a job they didn't sign up for. if there's a prolonged imbalance, it'll be obvious when you should stop, you don't need to evaluate for it.
- you can never make old friends. there's no substitute for time. seeing someone over all their arcs makes it so much harder to get mad at them. major thing that kills long term friendships is built up resentment. understanding kills resentment.
hope this helps someone <3
@fayrchilds Wow I read the mortal instruments and infernal devices books when I was a tween. I didn't realize she's still been creating more. That's crazy
