@maul_ren @SharonFull64364 I think part of the issue is most of said character development between the end of TCW and Ahsoka season 1 is offscreen, so it creates the illusion of disparate personalities.

@balrogborzoi Yeah, like. Melkor/Sauron are intended as a twisted take on the King/Servant dynamic other Valar/Maiar have. Cuz for Tolkien such a hierarchy is objectively good. And Melkor/Sauron is evil cuz it's a perversion of that good.

And shipping is a total non sequitur in that equation.
