There is an eerie sense of familiarity when I see these kinds of western winter city scapes.
Like some part of my soul has spent a bitter winter as some decently paid but overly worked apprentice.
It can feel all too real sometimes.
Then again maybe it's just a dream.
"Art has colonized a space in my soul that I don't have the power to win back.
I am powerless against inspiration and I am ever enamoured by the beauty of hidden things.
It would be a waste for me to delude myself to pursue anything else...but I am trapped."
Art is not mine
