because we know that other people aren’t going to understand, know how to help, or honestly, aren’t going to care because we don’t “look” like we’re in pain, or like we need support. There are so many reasons to be upset & these “little” things compound themselves.

@wormcriminal THIS. In a social setting, I'm autistic. In a learning setting, I have NVLD. My NVLD symptoms are constantly brushed over because my autism diagnosis is more well-known, but both identities need acknowledgment and accommodations, regardless of whether or not you've heard of them.
