But this ignores the massive, structural discrepancy in scale, speed, and volume: many red-leaning states report 95–99%+ of votes within hours or by the morning after Election Night with near-final unofficial results, while several blue-leaning states leave huge percentages uncounted (often millions of ballots) and drip out updates over days or weeks.
