BINANCE MAY HAVE JUST SUFFERED A MULTI-BILLION-DOLLAR HACK.

Founder CZ says “it does look like a hack” after billions of dollars moved out of Binance-linked hot wallets into fresh addresses.

Tether and Circle have already frozen roughly $1.8 billion in USDT and USDC tied to the suspicious wallets. Binance says it is investigating a “potential security issue” and has not confirmed any impact to user funds yet.

The exact amount involved is still moving depending on which on-chain tracker you use, but this is way past a normal-looking wallet transfer.
