When you truly understand the rule of “1% risk per trade” then leverage level doesn’t actually matter.

At TTC we don’t advise using over 10x leverage as day traders but it’s not because “high leverage is dangerous/gambling”.

It’s because 99% of amateur traders don’t truly understand how to apply leverage and stick to the 1% rule (the comments on my last post prove it).

The truth is, as long as your liquidation level is far from your SL and your risk is only 1% of your account, you can use any leverage you want.

But most STILL won’t understand that sentence, so let’s just stick with this… if you choose to use leverage, then use not higher than 10x for day trades :)
