I think it's time to reintroduce ourselves. Gods of Asgard P2E has a back story and I am here to tell it to you.

We are not the original owners of this product. The original founders of this project and their original partners quit on the development of this project after 7,309 NFT mints and after generating over $1M in mint revenue. They fumbled their development budget when AVAX first dropped from nearly $100 to around $20. They were unwilling to put the mints funds to work to complete the game, and decided instead to cease development and walk away. The lead dev was offered the main contract to be transferred to him if he wanted to try to finish the game on his own.

It was at this time that I partnered with the lead dev and we opened an LLC. Our plan was to use private funds to resurrect the game and complete the development for the community (that didn't deserve to get rugged like that). This is an extremely supportive community that deserved better.

First thing we did was offer a staking platform for the existing 7309 nft's that had been minted with false promises. It was important for us that we included them on our journey to the finish line. They were the folks who got swindled in the first place. For the next 100 days we offered a staking program which served as like a rebate for depositing your NFT's in our staking contract which would keep them off the aftermarket. We employed a team of developers and began our journey.

During this time, our community minted about another 1k nft's. That revenue help covered the cost of the rebate program. Beyond that, all development needs, fees, costs, liquidity, etc, have come from our private funding.

In early 2023, we decided that the model for the single player battle royale was not sustainable. It was not good for the game's economy, nor was it affordable for server costs. We changed the game mode from single player to multiplayer to help accommodate player base growth and with it, emissions growth.

We realized this re-development was going to take a significantly longer time that we first thought, so in an act of good taste, we turned off our minting site. We didn't want our community to think we were trying to just get them for more mint revenue and not deliver the product. So for all of 2023, we've kept our heads down, mostly quiet, and worked to finish our redesign to multiplayer.

Now the time has come!! We have been in an open beta state for a couple months now ironing out bugs and issues every week, while still expanding the gameplay, game modes, marketplace, rental market, and more. The game is getting more fun with each patch!

Simply put, Gods of Asgard P2E is a Norse myth based, swords and spells battle royale game. The last player alive in the Battle Royale faces a Boss fight at the end for a chance for victory and to earn our $ASG token. We have a number of fun ways to spend $ASG throughout our ecosystem, from marketplace items, to wager modes, and much more!

Gameplay is fast, action packed, and most importantly fun! Whether you've been knocked across the map from a shockwave grenade, or if you're zooming in to on a dash attack, the game play keeps you coming back again and again.

The game is free to play and try. This way you can decide if you like it before committing any real resources on it. We'd love to have you come by and give it a try!

Not all games need to have a $30M budget to be super fun or find success!
