#XDC SWIFT have collaborated with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) to develop a new Corporate to Bank Guarantee API.

“The new SWIFT/ICC APIs enable the industry to leverage ISO standards in the trade space for the first time”

The resulting open API solution streamlines the corporate-to-bank processes involved in both guarantees and standby letters of credit, has a light footprint, and provides #ISO20022-ready structured data.

Banks, corporates and platforms are currently taking part in a pilot to validate the effectiveness of this solution. Seven banks are already in the process of implementing C2B Guarantee APIs, and two further trade platforms – Komgo and Surecomp – are using the APIs to allow corporates to better interoperate with banks via their platforms.

The DNI Initiative under the ITFA is setting an expert panel right inside Lloyds Bank HQ in NY.

As we can see there's only 8 names listed here.

One of which being XDC Network itself, the other being Enigio... The trademark MLETR focused dApp on XDC!

And outside of these two we see some MASSIVE names in the trade finance industry.

On top of this we also see Casterman Advisory listed here on the attendee list.

As we know Andre Casterman essentially serves as a bridge between ITFA & XDC Network.

This is due to his expertise in the world of trade finance backed by 20+ years @ SWIFT & more relating to that.

Back in ~2020, Andre had brought XDC Network into the ITFA & that's obviously progressed greatly over the past 4 years.

And now we can see just how far this has gone as we see XDC right alongside these industry titans.
