Where has all the leadership gone?  If not for university presidents, law firm managing partners, and corporate chief executives standing up against bullies, who then will step up for the first amendment?  The “suspending indefinitely” of Jimmy Kimmel immediately after the Chairman of the FCC's aggressive yet hollow threatening of the Disney Company is yet another example of out-of-control intimidation.  Maybe the Constitution should have said, “Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, except in one’s political or financial self-interest.” By-the-way, for the record, this ex-CEO finds Jimmy Kimmel very talented and funny.

Many of the people on this space conflate their anger towards the system with a a misconstrued hatred of short sellers, and the hedge funds can’t stand it because the apes sound like they don’t know what they are talking about.

But don’t make the mistake of confusing their misunderstanding of finance with stupidity. It is like thinking a foreigner is stupid because they don’t speak English. These people are smart, they just have bad messaging.

But their anger is real. Their confusion is real. They realize that no one with power and money goes to prison no matter the crime committed. They know they are being fucked by inflation. They see the game as rigged, and they are pissed.

This is just the beginning. It won’t only materialize in the market. It will materialize anywhere it can, and the world is a much larger place than it used to be, so it’s going to get wild.

If you don’t see that a guy posting videos all day on twitter and lighting the fire of thousands is absolutely normal given the anger and the tech and the times, then you are the confused one.

Sometimes a mistake is much more than just a mistake. By not allowing Ukrainian drones to destroy part of the Russian military (!) fleet via #Starlink interference, @elonmusk allowed this fleet to fire Kalibr missiles at Ukrainian cities. As a result, civilians, children are being killed. This is the price of a cocktail of ignorance and big ego. However, the question still remains: why do some people so desperately want to defend war criminals and their desire to commit murder?
