Over the last couple of days I have become aware of exactly how ecological damaging NFTs based on PoW Blockchains are, and I cannot with a reasonable conscience continue. I will therefore burn all unsold pieces after work today and stop minting new items.

1. I am finding the lack of any sort of change of behaviour in the scene regarding the environmental impact of NFTs pretty depressing. If I am quiet in places I have been chatting in the past, this is why.

@joshachaplin Yeah it definitely makes for uncomfortable reading. I might be back if the situation changes (Ethereum 2.0 looking at you), but seems a while off unfortunately.

@DefiantSquid Indeed. If the main chains (e.g. Etherium 2.0 with PoS) become more efficient I might be back. But looking at the numbers even someone small like me has, I just can't justify it for myself. Also can't force others to make the same choice. :)
