From what I know, most of Indian exchanges follow hybrid model for order book and get liquidity from foreign exchanges.

If this changes, Indian exchange might end up having very thin order books resulting in bigger slippage.

I guess local order book exchanges will be the way forward for crypto in India.

A lot of existing exchanges have been operating as liquidity aggregators or using hybrid models, relying on foreign exchanges for liquidity.

And it seems the ED isn’t too happy about that.
