GM GU! This week's interview with a community is from @ligne2mhyr also known as mhyr in Discord. We asked him a few questions to get to know him a bit better.

1) What was the first GU you bought and do you still hold it?

mhyr: My first Genuine Undead was GU2739, which I bought around February or March 2023 — I don’t remember the exact date. At the time, I sold it fairly quickly because I wanted to buy another GU that resonated more with me: GU1990. I ended up holding GU1990 for a long time and used it as my main avatar until the one I have today.

Funny anecdote: just a few days ago, I actually re-bought my very first GU at floor price — almost three years after selling it. This time, I’m keeping it for good.

2) What is your favourite GU piece and why?

mhyr: My favourite piece is without any doubt the GU I currently use as my avatar: GU5533. I bought it directly from Qin @Olga57612883 . She agreed to sell it to me as an exception, because she felt I would truly use it and keep it as an avatar, not just hold it as a collectible. It’s been almost two years now, and GU5533 has followed me everywhere — on socials, online spaces, and even in real life. I’m a big video game player, and for me this Undead really became part of my identity across different worlds.

3) Which is your favourite project outside of GU?

mhyr: Outside of GU, I really love the @unofficialmfers NFT project. It’s a community-driven project, built and carried by its holders, which is something I deeply value in Web3. In many ways, I feel it shares a lot of similarities with Genuine Undead: a strong identity, an organic culture, and a community that exists beyond pure speculation.

4) What do you expect from Web3 in the future?

mhyr: When it comes to Web3, I place a lot of hope in blockchain technology and NFTs within the video game industry — especially for trading card games (TCGs). This technology clearly answers a real need: trust in the value and ownership of the cards players buy. Blockchain can provide that trust in a very straightforward way, by offering true ownership, transparency, and long-term value beyond a single platform or publisher.

5) Why GU?

mhyr: In the NFT space, I value art above price — and especially above speculation, which has honestly become exhausting over time. I first fell in love with Genuine Undead because of its artistic strength and the incredibly thoughtful pixel work. At any scale, the avatar remains clean, readable, and visually powerful. The color choices are perfect — it’s pure genius. Beyond the art, the community is truly beautiful and still very present today, even in a difficult period for NFT investing. That matters a lot to me. Staying present, supporting projects you believe in — Genuine Undead is absolutely worth it.

We should be very clear about the increased threat of certain nationalities to the British people, and feel comfortable in tailoring our immigration system in order to respond to that threat.

Are Australians as likely as Pakistanis to commit awful crime in Britain?

No. Obviously not.

Are Americans as likely as Somalians to live a life on benefits in Britain?

No. Obviously not.

Are Swedes as likely as Albanians to participate in organised crime in Britain?

No. Obviously not.

Are Canadians as likely as Syrians to fraudulently claim asylum in Britain?

These risks are clear and obvious. The differences are clear and obvious.

This is not racist. This is FACT.

I want an immigration system that discriminates.

Entire visa routes should be shut off from countries that are proven to export citizens that disproportionately hurt the British people - in a variety of ways.

When it benefits Britain, we should discriminate.

And we should discriminate unapologetically.

Musk, Thiel, Sacks, Zuckerberg, the mob behind Google and the other billionaire oligarchs like Ellison and Altman are playing you on a scale that beggars belief. They are not 'individuals' in 'competition' - they just want you to believe they are. It's all diversion and theatre.
