Sometimes I spend a full minute imagining being in prison for 20 years for murder. Then I walk in the sun, think about the last ball game I went to, taste fresh hot expensive coffee, talk to a woman. Life is so good brothers. Every day is such a blessing.
silence is the key to success
it is the wellspring of all innovation, the womb of creation, a portal to the infinite, a doorway to inspiration.
this is why most people have "shower thoughts"....because it's one of the only places you're not incredibly distracted.
sitting in silence daily is the key to unveil how your mind works, to put it on display, to meet yourself as you are, understand how you really tick. it is the first step to controlling and disciplining your mind...and without discipline you can never do anything great.
studies even show that silence increases the size of the gray matter in your brain.
spending at least an hour in total silence a day, meditating, praying or walking will change your life.
silence is not the opposite of action. in fact, it's the preparation for it.

what did I miss?
@jcolesimpson I’m sure. I’m in a similar position where I didn’t have anything before, started a biz I know very well, now on track to making 7+ figs yearly, but the first thing I’m working on is saving a liquid 1M to split 250k high yield and 750 Vanguard ETF’s. Need to be positioned well.
I took pride in answering my phone for 23 years, no matter what - and been advocating that others do the same.
It's become unsustainable -- so starting this week I decided that all calls I don't recognize go to voicemail.
It is hard to express what a productivity game-changer it's already been.
Yes, I was wrong!
