@Jam_99X@eddienglfc@Mxllan You gotta read it until the end brother. You only count it as an Islamic state when Sharia law is applied to non-Muslims as well. No means NO. Yes, we are a majority Muslim country. That's a fact.
Wait, so malays in Malaysia are descendants of Austronesian people, the same root as Taiwan's indigenous people? What the hell, I only just found out about this?!
@bear_meaty@Jebatder_2004@JMNewsNetwork_ You are right. By population, yes, by law, no. Countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, and others that are governed by Sharia law are the true Islamic states. So yeah, it's a majority muslim country.
@Jebatder_2004@JMNewsNetwork_ Article 3(1) states: “Islam is the religion of the Federation; but other religions may be practised in peace and harmony in any part of the Federation.”
Funny there are people who can’t read nowadays.
Oh I am sorry, I should have been more specific.
Most Chinese in Indonesia are very integrated into Indonesian society, many use Indonesian names and speak bahasa daily, so they are fully part of Indonesia while still keeping some of their roots.
Percentage wise, Malaysia’s Chinese community makes up around 22%, while Indonesia’s is only around 1.2% to 4%. Also, they don’t really speak Mandarin anymore. So they are like bumiputera in Indonesia.
So does that make sense to you? We’re talking about the impact the Chinese community is making. That’s why in Indonesia, they’re great in many other aspects too, but overall it’s kind nah nah.
Some more the people in the richest list in Indonesia are mostly chinese as well.
Not to insult anyone here, we are just speaking facts. The Chinese are not the ones eradicating the slums or fixing the poor town planning. Thats true. It’s the entire government policy thats responsible.
The countries I am referring to are the ones that arent doing really well. These are the countries with fewer ethnic Chinese people. Also, Brunei doesnt have slums mainly because of its small population.
Be like Brunei? No freedom of speech, heavily dependent on oil and gas, reserves are declining, and growth has been flat or negative. Also, Malaysia wont survive just by depending on oil.
Lets be real, without the chinese or indians, it would be just like Indonesia or the Philippines.
There are things that cant be changed anymore. We are here and we were born here. Why dont we stop kicking each other ass and just move on to build a better country?
