Prosecutors in the Karmelo Anthony trial illegally challenged the only 3 black jurors.
Under law they have to provide a "race neutral" reason for striking the jurors.
They said it was because "all three were educators."
They're not even hiding the fact this is a racial lynching.
Over 200 people killed so far, some who seem likely to have died agonizing deaths by drowning after clinging to wreckage for hours, with no trials, and without a single piece of evidence released to the public of their guilt or of any intent to smuggle drugs to the United States.
“crime is a social construct”, what we mean is that you, as an individual, can go to jaił for littering, but a corporation can poıson the air, the soil, and the water of an entire town, and no one will go to jaił.
🚨 White Man tries to kidnap Black woman by pretending to be a cop — she gets rescued by truck driver.
In Aiken County, South Carolina, a young woman who had just graduated ran into traffic on a rural road, begging for help. She had escaped a white Cadillac after 39-year-old Jonathan Willard posed as a police officer, handcuffed her, took her phone and diploma, and tried to run her over when she fled.
Truck driver Anthony Moore stopped his rig. The woman jumped in as Willard approached claiming to be law enforcement. Another driver called 911 and helped remove the handcuffs.
Willard took off but was quickly arrested and charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer and kidnapping.
What would you do if you saw someone running into traffic screaming they were being kidnapped?
The federal court did not say Alabama drew the wrong lines. It said Alabama intentionally discriminated against Black voters, violated the 14th Amendment, and likely violated Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. The 2025 ruling called the Section 2 claim "not a close call."
Alabama lost. Drew a new map. Lost again. Now it has asked the Supreme Court to block the federal court ruling entirely - which would eliminate the second majority-Black congressional district and remove Rep. Shomari Figures from a seat he won under the court-ordered map.
This is the pattern Hardy is describing and it is worth stating plainly. Alabama was told its map was an intentional racial gerrymander. It drew another one. It was told that map also violated federal law. It appealed to the highest court in the land asking to use the illegal map anyway.
The question before the Supreme Court is not really about district lines. It is about whether a state can be found in intentional violation of the 14th Amendment, lose in court repeatedly, and still prevail through sheer institutional defiance while the legal process runs out the clock on another election cycle.
Selma is not a metaphor. It is a geographic fact. The Edmund Pettus Bridge is still there. The people who marched across it in 1965 were beaten because they wanted the right to vote. The fight Anneshia Hardy is describing in 2026 is not distant from that history. It is continuous with it. Same state. Same question. Different mechanism.
I love that Sheila Atim is embracing her vilain era There won’t be no confusion 🥶🥶🥶.
But what a hot and beautiful vilain we will have 🥰🥵.
Lestat can’t even handle all that.
Dr Lilly Xu's murder by a black man in Oakland is what kicked off the Stop Asian Hate campaign, but I think few people know that police found out it was a murder for hire, and that her longtime partner and fellow Asian Nelson Chia was the one who orchestrated her murder.
Reconstruction lasted 12 years. It did not merely “end.” Black legislators were murdered and barbaric immigrants were unleashed on over 538 thriving Black American cities, towns, and communities. Jim Crow was quickly implemented in its place and lasted for 88 years.
HOLY SH*T, this parting statement by Scott Pelley is WILD:
"New management has instructed me to INJECT FALSEHOODS AND BIAS into a politically sensitive story. I've been told to include assertions that are unverified."
I bet he knows a LOT more, too. 🔥
