One of only two web3 games approved as a Nintendo Switch publisher.

Significant inroads to mainstream adoption.

This is not going to manifest for some time in a Chronoforge Switch game to be clear.

I expect we need a stable release version PC version live first (early access launch is expected next month, with the TGE coming this month likely), then iteration and improvements made on that game, and then the game ported to Nintendo.

But it's a good strong jump in the right direction to bring web3 games to real gamers at scale.

This is only a win for web3 gaming and a push for more quality partnerships in this space.

Looks like @playchronoforge is gearing up a list of very bullish announcements to start off the new year, stuff that's been in the works over a good part of 2024.

The founder is an actual AI Engineer by occupation and has been building out an AI NPC platform called MindTome (https://t.co/ZCKnXicMPr) on the side.

So Chronoforge is well positioned to ride several strong narrative tailwinds, specifically the AI x Gaming narrative, if the team starts to bring forward more details about the AI platform they are building and specifically how this ties into the game.

There is a potential AI platform play here embedded that could happen (think @ParallelTCG's $PRIME to $PROMPT) which would be extremely bullish for the token if the game token gives exposure to an ecosystem AI token.

Of course, the full game needs to be fun. Game suffered a year of delays, but as it turned out, this was probably the best thing to happen to the game as it's had an entire year of improvements and bug fixes and, by the looks of it in the recent playtest, could be something special.

What really makes the game special imo is the web3 economy in the ecosystem which ties into the core game experience that you can't really showcase WITHOUT having the web3 side live.

I'm particularly eager to see Chronoforge's meta game play out where players in the trading companies (basically giant guilds you need to join as part of the game mechanic) must vote each week on how to interact with the other trading companies, which can include attacking them and potentially resetting all progress made by those attacked (which will cripple those players' Play 2 Earn ability for weeks) if successful. These social dynamics will really captivate players who must participate in these game-changing (and $ changing) choices and lend deeper gameplay elements to the game.

I think the game could be a dark horse this year if things work out (that's my bet).

I bagged up as the largest NFT holder over 18 months ago betting on this game and I'm excited to see how the game's unique web3 economy plays out live in the eminent game launch coming up.

The AI narrative and what they seem to be building there in that direction also make this even more interesting with a larger sail that can capture greater winds than just a pure gaming narrative might.

With the TGE coming very soon, I expect hype is coming.

Fun fact: some interesting meetings happened at the recent @spiritdao event at the Singapore Token 2049 some months ago (see photo)

And coincidently, Chronoforge will be announcing the new chain the game will be moving to within a few days. Might just be a little bullish...
