@hellohedgie@j_gonfer Beware - the handle 'j_gomfer' who just claimed this win is a scam account with the real winners name spelled close to the right one.
Warren Buffett spent just over $1 Billion to buy 9.8 million shares of Apple in Q1 2016. Today that stake is worth ~$1.4 Billion.
If he had taken the money and bought Bitcoin instead, he would have $8.7 billion.
Maybe Mr. Buffett should start buying some rat poison 😉
This is a reminder that Bitfinex will be going offline for up to 7 hours on January 7th as we migrate to a self-designed, dedicated infrastructure optimised for cryptocurrency trading. Please refer to last week’s announcement for more information:

Very excited to have participated in @Bakkt’s first round of funding. We anticipate Bakkt to emerge as a leading digital asset exchange and trusted institutional-grade custodian in the developing #crypto market.
@mrilirgashi @AnthonyHunter83 @SatoshiLite@brucebuffer@ufc@criscyborg@Amanda_Leoa@danawhite Well, you stated you're with the LTC foundation, so.... and decentralization doesn't matter with the image and marketing.
Accusations without proof except "I can prove it" has a certain preschool ring to it. Drags LTC to a bad place. Please don't.
@mrilirgashi You too and a happy new year! But as a piece of advice for the new year is to stay at a certain level when representing LTC. As mentioned – in the age of internet the collective memory goes back a long time and your actions reflects on LTC now.
@mrilirgashi Meh.. a 'foundation' is just a base of operation. 'Litecoin' is a spin of 'Bitcoin' and there are soooo many common names in crypto already. That doesn't confuse anybody. Not shilling anything here, but you gotta have more as a LTC associate before throwing mud. It ain't pretty.
@mrilirgashi @AnthonyHunter83 @SatoshiLite@brucebuffer@ufc@criscyborg@Amanda_Leoa@danawhite How about the "proof" before radical statements you ask from other. Too easy just to "scam" label. Sorry - but the responses over this whole UFC deal are getting frantic. It doesn't look pretty for LTC associates to get into messy dialogue at that level.
@mrilirgashi@ufc Awareness is not the first step towards adoption. Convenience and advantage will ignite changed behaviour – any semi serious marketing book will tell you that. People are lazy, not curious.
@LitecoinEazyE @SatoshiLite@brucebuffer@ufc@criscyborg@Amanda_Leoa@danawhite Sure they do. But they have no icentive whatsoever to react on a name or a tiny logo. They are there to see people fight and in a completely different mindset. You can use events like that to create new associations for known brands. Impact for new concepts is minimal at best.
