I feel like crypto wasn't always like this. Over the years it got worse and worse.

2017-2018, years when people actually cared about building useful tech & delivering a product that could help reframe the financial system.

IMO, NFT's started this circle jerk of getting rich off pointless shit, memecoins amplified it and ruined it.

Crypto has great framework when it comes down to decentralization and blockchain technology. It has sadly turned into a battlefield of predatory individuals looking to shortcut the game for personal gain instead of attributing to the greater vision of the technology and eco.
