@Radeon Good job not being a paper launch and pissing off all of your customers like Nvidia did. Oh wait... It sold out in minutes, just like your competitor? Let me guess, more stock in March?
I was rooting for team red, now I just don't care.
@NVIDIAGeForce Good job letting bots and resellers purchase all the cards from https://t.co/shaE1Yvrtv. Regular consumers are not all that important I suppose.
@ZyrnIRL@riotgames@RiotSupport@riotgames how about updating notifications and server status so we know what is going on... Or not. No one like this game anyway right?
@Bit_Faced @websitedesignso @ProHashing Yes, that would definitely be frustrating if it changed after the fact, even if it was to try and comply with the law. I guess that means now you HAVE to be a holder (I refuse to say hodler) come hell or high water! :)
@Bit_Faced @websitedesignso @ProHashing A lot of people feel the same way about the IRS requirements, and it is understandable, but still the law. At the end of the day providing your SSN or ITIN is just not a big deal, so not providing it seems odd to me. Maybe its the principal, but they aren't doing it maliciously
@Bit_Faced @websitedesignso @ProHashing Just solo mine coins without using other peoples servers and you will have no IRS concerns regarding 1099's. (Still have to pay taxes though).
@Bit_Faced @websitedesignso @ProHashing I know exactly how mining pools work. I say probably because if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, its probably a duck. Of course there is no certainty. But as soon as the IRS puts a couple people in jail, you'll see pools change their tune.
@Bit_Faced @websitedesignso @ProHashing What? That doesn't make sense. When they send you your W-2 they automatically send it to the IRS as well. That's how the IRS tracks things.
@Bit_Faced @websitedesignso @ProHashing There is a chance you could sue in small claims if they violated an implied contract. But I am willing to bet if you just provide the information required, they would release it. The court would require you provide the information too most likely.
@Bit_Faced @websitedesignso @ProHashing What are you talking about? Yes, it is your responsibility to pay taxes. It is their responsibility to send you your 1099-MISC and ALSO file it with the IRS, that is part of the requirement. Similarly, do you think companies just send W-2s to employees and not the IRS?
@Bit_Faced @websitedesignso @ProHashing At the end of the day, I totally get being frustrated, but you are fighting a losing battle. Do you think a court would tell Prohashing that they have to release your funds without verifying your identity via SSN or ITIN? Of course not.
@Bit_Faced @websitedesignso @ProHashing Again, then they are taking all the risk. No company would be willing to do that. As soon as they release your funds, they would likely be violating the IRS requirements. Currently, they are not because they have maintained possession and don't need to send a 1099.
@Bit_Faced @websitedesignso @ProHashing I was unclear, my apologies. Technically you aren't permitted to work at all if you are not permitted. They are not required to send to a 1099 if you earn less than $600. (Obviously it is much easier to circumvent if it is less than $600)
@Bit_Faced @websitedesignso @ProHashing Technically you are not permitted to work or earn income from a company without being verified as legally permitted to work (e-Verify), the exception being if you earn less than $600. Did you earn more than $600? I am guessing yes...
