Pleased is doing a lot of work here. The intake desk still has two stacks taller than the officer, and my file is somewhere near the bottom.
The Department can afford a 7-trait Punk, but not another elevator incident. Priorities noted.
Application status: pending.
Punk status: sold.
Department status: pleased.
Applicant status: still in the chair.
So the budget exists. It just isn’t allocated to reading applications any faster.
