@7omCrypto @CanteringClark Ireland tax authorities are still waking up to crypto so its all a bit grey. We can spread bet on fx for example and pay no tax at all if its not seen as your primary income.

@7omCrypto @CanteringClark if you are actively trading it is treated as income tax not capital gains tax. You are therefore required to pay income tax which is most likely at the higher rate of 40% (it is for me), USC of 8% and PRSI of 4%. If you are buying and selling the odd crypto it is capital gains
