Writing is so underated these days! In the age of tech, tablets and smart phones, i'm not sure if kids even know how to use a pen anymore?

Everyone should practice a bit of writing, daily, and not just because of whats in this video. There are many many more benefits to it.

We generate so many thoughts and ideas throughout our daily lives and most of them are forgotten, never to return. When we write, we have a chance to capture those thoughts. Your journal is a piece of your own mind captured in time, and you can revisit it over and over.

As your journal grows, you can view a record of your own thought patterns over a longer period. There may be things there that you really want to change, and writing can help.

From personal experience, i have written in my journal on and off over the past few years, and when i visit the dark periods of my life l i said to myself "wow, was that really me?". This has allowed me to consciously change my thought patterns for the better, because as i mentioned, a huge part of our thoughts are just fleeting and forgotten moments, but they are still there in our subconscious, and will impact our lives in probably not a desired way. We have the power to change that simply by writing.

Similarly, when i had bursts of creative moments, ideas for poetry, words of wisdom, random life questions, or just general nonsense, noting them down has allowed me to revisit and expand on them, and lead to greater ideas (and a lot more questions 😅).

So yeh, make an effort and write something. Doesn't matter what it is, as nobody has to see it but YOU. If you are worried about what you will write then even more reason to write! Get it out in front of you and address it head on! On the other hand, you may even surprise yourself with what you've got locked up there and kick yourself for not writing sooner!

I've included a couple of short pieces from the early stages of my journal to help you get started. Apologies for the terrible handwriting, but i hope it can inspire some of you!

Robinhood reports Q3 results on Tuesday, October 27.

That's the first full quarter Robinhood Chain has been live. And a lot of that quarter's activity came from memecoins.

Here's the part most people don't know:

Robinhood lets its shareholders ask management questions on the earnings call. Submissions are open now on Say by Robinhood. Vlad and the CFO answer a selection of the most upvoted questions live.

Deadline: Monday, October 26, 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET.

So if you hold HOOD shares, here's the mission:

1. Go to the Q&A (link in the first reply).
2. Upvote a question about memecoins and communities on Robinhood Chain.
3. If there isn't one, submit this:

"Memecoins and the communities around them drove much of Robinhood Chain's first full quarter. How will Robinhood support the community-built projects growing there?"

A few rules so it actually gets picked:
