If you are called into ministry, you must learn to endure. Results may delay, seasons may be hard, but quitting is not an option. Those who persevere like Jesus are the ones who finish their course and fulfill their assignment.

Ministry and Ministering pt3
In ministry, one of the core characters we must develop is perseverance. Calling without endurance will collapse under pressure. Ministry is not sustained by zeal alone, but by the strength to remain consistent even when the work becomes difficult.
The peak of this character was seen in Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed, “Not My will, but Yours be done.”
Perseverance is not the absence of pain; it is obedience in the midst of pain, choosing God’s will over personal comfort.
He would rise early, withdraw, and pray. And after those moments of hidden communion, the sick were healed and devils were cast out openly.
What men celebrated publicly was sustained by what Jesus cultivated privately. The works were visible, but the source was invisible

Jesus immediately after that public confirmation of his IDENTITY, He was led by the Spirit, not into a crowd, not onto a stage, but into the wilderness. That place had no audience and no applause. It was there, in fasting and prayer, that authority was forged.

they were programmed. Every word that silenced demons carried weight because it had first been tested in solitude.
Every command that set captives free flowed from victories already won where no one was watching.
Even while crowds followed Him, Jesus never abandoned the secret.
Ministry and Ministering pt1
Men are changed publicly by what was won privately. No life produces a result that was not first properly programmed.
In God’s economy, nothing powerful ever appears suddenly; it only appears openly.
When the time finally came for Jesus to step into public view, heaven did not introduce Him as a new project.
At His baptism, God spoke and said, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
For “if you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him” (Jeremiah 29:13). And as you study rightly, you will be “approved unto God… rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15)
Your growth is certain when you remain devoted.
Your brother,
Valentine I. Akomolafe.
Effective study of the Word is neither a gift nor a special ability, it is a discipline developed over time.
It is cultivated through consistent devotion to God, diligent study of Scripture, and a genuine hunger to know Him.
As we give ourselves continually to the Word,
As you do, you will discover that illumination begins to break forth, for “the entrance of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple” (Psalm 119:130).
You can understand the Scriptures. You can grow in the knowledge of God.
