People often ask me why does @Backpack do KYC + compliance? Why don't we pivot to a DEX?

This is why.

There's a lot of people building great DEXs. This is important, but there's virtually no crypto native team solving the hard TradFi problems. They are boring, unsexy, and hated by many in the space. But these problems are just as important to build real products for real people.

Over the next decade, crypto is going to converge with finance. When it does, new financial institutions will emerge to redefine payments, banking, Wall Street, and capital markets around the world.

Ayer @Backpack nos sorprendió con un tweet lleno de alfa que vamos a desgranar a continuación

Llega el sprint final y se acerca el TGE. En el tweet de ayer, Backpack compartió una imagen de la que pueden deducirse multitud de detalles IMPORTANTES. Voy a empezar analizando los que me parecen MÁS relevantes:

1️⃣ NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE.
Referencia clara a mercados regulados en EE.UU. y a la Bolsa de Nueva York. Una auténtica bomba de relojería, ya que abriría la puerta a volumen institucional y credibilidad a otro nivel.

2️⃣ Multitud de referencias a Japón y EE.UU., lo que sugiere que ambos mercados podrían estar operativos en breve al 100%, siempre bajo un enfoque full compliance.

3️⃣ Integración de Vaults, algo esencial antes del TGE según palabras del propio @armaniferrante , por lo que todo apunta a que estamos muy cerca.

4️⃣ On-ramp y off-ramp al 0% fees?
¿What? De confirmarse, sería algo muy TOP.

5️⃣ Tarjetas cripto, cerrando el puente entre cripto y uso real en el día a día.

6️⃣ <REDACTED>.
Alguna bomba se están guardando. Muchos creen que podrían ser prediction markets.

7️⃣ Swaps con 0% fees.
Si esto se confirma, también sería una noticia espectacular.

Yo siempre he rotado mi foco hacia donde no está la atención masiva, pero sí hay construcción real. Hago volumen en otros sitios, obvio, pero mi apuesta principal sigue siendo Backpack.

Tengo la impresión de que el valor inicial de los puntos rondará 1$ por punto, pero estoy convencido de que a largo plazo, hablando de años, cada punto podría alcanzar fácilmente los 3–4$.

De ser así, cuánto profit llevarías y qu�� tienes pensado hacer con todo ese capital? Te vas a dar algún capricho?
