I made this #Bitcoin video 10 years ago today. Back then some were shamed if they had paid the "high price" of $700. Others were paralyzed because they could no get over the fact that some had only paid double digits per #BTC a few years earlier. Lack of long-term thinking!
@BorisJohnson Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme. A Ponzi requires a central operator promising returns and paying early investors with funds from later ones. Bitcoin has no issuer, no promoter, and no guaranteed returnโjust an open, decentralized monetary network driven by code and market demand.
I arrived to Bitcoin in 2017.
Since then I have experienced
10 declines greater than 25%
6 declines greater than 50%
3 declines greater than 75%
Every single decline was followed by new record highs.
