Jensen Ackles, SPN, Tom Holland, The Boys and all things well written. Can't stand Hypocrites or prejudiced ppl. Take it as you dish it, or don't start with me.
@nightswayness Because they are ignorant hypocrites who think they're gaining social points by hating someone they don't know anything about. Not even (and most importantly) his filmography.
@city_willow 2.Acting/Writing has influenced women to behave that way? or women's behaviour, for any reason, has influenced writing. I tend to believe the first one is true. Real women are not "influencers", basing a character on the toxic behavior of current politics is a losing game.
@city_willow No, really, his female characters are not wrongly portrayed, except they behave like a man thinks a woman behaves (he thinks), always confrontational, always a bit difficult, always undoubting of her ideas or opinions etc. It's sad that many American women do behave like that..1
@cinephilishh People are really coming for Holland in a radical way, at this point it feels like a personal vendetta because he got to marry Zendaya and other blokes didn’t. When he wasn’t good/fine he was GREAT.
@Here_2_Schmooze@cinephilishh Yeah it's been like that for years! Now you may understand why he is guarded when he is not promoting a film. Why he feels attacked by the media to the point of closing his SM accounts. Why we all love him, because too many sheep hate him without even knowing why.
@LordStarkPotter@screenscaps All great and interesting/beautiful/anguishing films that left the spectator transfixed...unless you are a moron who goes just where the money tells you to go because cars would be crashed. BTW, many of them were critical darlings (not all the world eats rotten tomatoes).
@tomhollandbr When he talks about movies and FX, Tom knows his sh*t. That's why he can contribute to the FX in Spider-man: he doesn't only do the stuns, he helps develop them, he throws ideas knowing what can really be done.
tom holland has spent years being underestimated as an actor. hopefully the reception to the odyssey encourages more people to discover the crowded room, because the talent has always always been there.
@Maynahmanoohaar@namgi_fm 3 - we realized he couldn't get out of the pouty, morose face, no matter the situation. He is a good looking chap with good enough chops to be an actor, but he cannot rescue a movie from a bad script, he needs one written with him in mind, 1 that takes account of his limitations.
@Maynahmanoohaar@namgi_fm 2 - He started his career later than Holland, got one of those firecracker endorsements from Hollywood (his daddy is rich) and he wasn't bad in the first two, very similar films. BUT, the more he was pushed into our viewership and acclaimed as the second coming of...
@Maynahmanoohaar@namgi_fm 1 - Twinkie Chalalas 🤣🤣🤣😂 I love it!. Yes that's exactly the point. Tom is flexible, great dramatic actor (drama doesn't mean "cry on camera"), dedicated, nice, humble and super loved. Chalalas is not as good an actor as he thinks he is or his studios sell him to be...
@koonimies like ppl are very desperate to keep him in a box and pretend they are unimpressed with him but I fear his talent is going to take him places whether they like it or not!
