3 years ago, in early 2023, DeFi was licking its wounds from the 2022 crypto winter. TVL had plummeted below $50B after the Luna crash and FTX fallout. Many wrote it off as a fad. Fast fwd to Jan 2026: DeFi TVL hovers around $210B+, with real growth. Proud to be part of it.
The longer I spend in this industry, the clearer one pattern becomes: protocols don't compound by themselves. Communities are the multiplier.
When people choose to build alongside a protocol actively by contributing, that's when your infrastructure turns into a lasting monument.
ORBT is being designed around that belief.
This campaign is how we start recognizing the behaviour that matters most: showing up early and consistently.

The years that matter most in markets rarely announce themselves.
2025 was one of those years. Not because of price action or headlines, but because of what quietly settled into place underneath.
> Settlement pathways simplified.
> Stablecoin infrastructure matured.
> The gap between what's technically possible and what's legally viable started narrowing.
What I'm watching in 2026 isn't a single catalyst. It's how many separate pieces - custody, compliance, execution, liquidity - are finally being designed to work together rather than around each other.
That's usually when industries stop experimenting and start compounding.
Here's to building what lasts.
This reads right to me.
What stands out is the direction.
Most of the real work ahead is about making money and coordination behave predictably at scale.
There's billions in unused capital parked across chains right now.
Not earning yield. Not moving. Just sitting there in case someone needs to settle transactions.
That's insane when you think about it.
DeFi risk is showing up less in isolated components and more in how systems interact.
Most of the failures that matter lately have come from assumptions colliding across layers like liquidity depending on timing, pricing depending on external state, and risk controls activating out of sequence.
What ends up mattering is coherence at the system level.
Understanding that interaction surface is becoming more important than inspecting any single piece in isolation.
My three years of DeFi activity got analyzed by @ORBT_Protocol.
Turns out I'm a LVL 2: On-chain Explorer with a DeFi Strategy Score of 56, earning 50 ORBs in total.
