You have no proof of any of this shit other than Trump admitting that he called Infantino. An independent body of 18 members made the decision, who Trump didn’t speak to. Trumps call had zero impact per Infantino’s comments. It doesn’t matter if Balogun sits or not it will never be enough at this point.

No it isn’t I don’t know how that’s not registering to you.. If I ask you for something and you say it’s not your decision, am I pressuring you? Trump has a relationship with Infantino because the US are hosting the World Cup they speak. You are now questioning the integrity of the entire independent commission because you believe “without proof” that Trump influenced their decision with the phone call.

You act like you had been their for the conversation. Asking for a review is not necessarily pressure. Infantino told Trump it was governed by an independent panel that rules on these matters and that he had no impact on a review. You hate Trump so you want it to be foul play and can’t admit it could be something that was probably pretty benign with no actual impact.

@lipevieira Is more about the consistency of the calls in this tournament. The only reason that’s a red is a frame by frame slow motion VAR review. Otherwise it’s a yellow.

Surpassed baseball in the sense of popularity, more kids now play soccer than baseball. It’s a 2 gender sport so there are professional leagues for both. National teams for both etc. Not to mention the US has tons of 1st and 2nd generation residents who prefer soccer. I never claimed MLS was more popular than the MLB. Just the sports as a whole but it’s getting closer. I agree this World Cup will have a massive impact.
