@CryptoChartsJoe @CryptoNobler Bitcoin’s supply is enforced by protocol, settlement, and finality. Derivatives do not mint coins, settle coins, or change issuance. They create price references, not supply. Confusing price discovery with supply creation is a category error.
@CryptoNobler it’s not free or infinite. Arbitrage always pulls derivatives back toward spot over time. This same “paper breaks scarcity” argument was made about gold, yet physical gold still clears at a premium in stress events. ETFs don’t mint BTC, they custody it, concentrating supply.
