If you are a software engineer "experiencing some degree of mental health crisis", now hear this, because I've been coding for 50 years since the days of punched cards and I have a salutary kick in your ass to deliver.
Get over yourself. Every previous "programming is obsolete" panic has been a bust, and this one's going to be too.
The fundamental problem of mismatch between the intentions in human minds and the specifications that a computer can interpret hasn't gone away just because now you can do a lot of your programming in natural language to an LLM.
Systems are still complicated. This shit is still difficult. The need for people who specialize in bridging that gap isn't going to go away.
As usual, the answer is: upskill yourself and adapt. If a crusty old fart like me can do it, you can too.
I'm an engineer. I've spent my entire career learning how to build products from the ground up & scale them.
AI is insane.
I use it every day and have built and launched many products built around AI – so I know it's limitations likely more than most – but the speed at which you can get from 0-80% is mind-blowing, and I get why non-dev's are super excited about the potential.
But where do we go from here? Imagine a world where every low-hanging-fruit idea is just a single button-click or voice-memo away, then what?
Is Memeland the most fudded project of 2025?
As a long term supporter, it feels like it. We get fud stones thrown at us from every direction all the time. The only way to console ourselves is at least people still bother to fud us
I don't agree with all of it but I can see where some of the fud is coming from
S l o w - Probably
Behind meta - Probably
Weak marketing - Sometimes
Lack of communication - Yes. We miss the HK accent
But, I don't think we can doubt the team's commitment to making it work. They have never wavered from their vision of bridging web2 and web3 and every launch points to this direction
MemeStrategy acquisition, Stakeland expansion,
AceTrader beta, Potatoz IP proliferating through 9GAG. I can see the financial aspect of them all but Potz IP surprised me the most. My boy is a big fan of @joey_lu now and wants to meet his hero. @9gagceo also missed mentioning moonit and memepay.
When you put them all together, that's alot the team has launched in a year. Again, you can fud the execution or idea but not the effort
But, I feel the most fud comes due to the price of $meme and @Memeland NFTs. It has been a painful hold for the loyal supporters.
If you believe in a team and founder that keeps pushing on despite stones being thrown from all directions, the biggest comeback could come one day. It's also smart of many to just take their bets elsewhere
As for myself, I continue to have full faith in Ray and the team. Either they find the treasure or my bags sink with the ship.
Thanks if you made it to the end. Have a🥔
Gotta say, I really love what @pumpcade is doing. @PopPunkOnChain has always been one to follow, but love how he's just building through the market noise like it's not even there 🫡
Have not told anyone to buy the dips etc this entire time.
But $btc being down 40k and +30% in a short time feels like things are at least locally getting a bit over extended and it’s likely not a bad time to start to buy for a bounce.
I think the last time I posted btc buys it was 74k in April or so.
Idk if it’s the bottom. Not calling one. But this area imo is likely within a few % of a local bottom.
@Pentosh1 This is the kinda post I wish I'd see more of. Not "bottom is in, up only from here" calls lol.
Just a good perspective on layering in and sticking in spot only (comfy long-term regardless of short-term price action).
The most shocking thing about this dump is that people still have anything left to sell. We've gotta be near the bottom here at some-point, right?
Right?
@0xGringo_ the dedication and effort you put into each recap and how many community members benefitted from it is unmatched!

Everyone tweeting about the cycle top makes me think it wasn’t the cycle top.
Feel like when it usually happens, people are outwardly bullish the entire way down for a long time until it hits home that we’re in a bear - and honestly, sometimes a while after that.
As the flagship partner of @Yay_Global, Moriusa is proud to share that our community has secured the largest allocation for their upcoming mint.
This milestone highlights Moriusa’s growing role in shaping the future of culture & IP in Japan with Yay! 🐰💜

Last month was a violent ride. I hope you didn’t FOMO. You know $MEME is a perfect ticker for TWAP if you paid attention to what they had been telling you.
