China just broke the first rule of negotiation: it leaked Washington's private promise to cap tariffs at 20%.
Why? Because a public promise can't be quietly broken — and because Trump's fast tariff statute expired 3 days earlier.
The leak IS the strategy. Full analysis:

Israel and Iran built a pipeline together in 1968. Its operations are still a state secret.
Now, with the Houthis blockading Bab el-Mandeb — Saudi crude may quietly flow through it.

Most people treat their beliefs like facts. That's the mistake.
A belief isn't a truth about you. It's a tool you picked up somewhere — from a parent, a boss, a bad year — and kept using long after it stopped working.
"I'm bad with money."
"I'm not a morning person."
"I can't focus."
These don't describe you. They describe what you've been telling yourself about you. And the telling is what keeps the behavior in place.
Here's how to rewrite one:
1. Name the belief in plain language. Not "I struggle with X." Say the actual sentence you tell yourself.
2. Ask where it came from. Beliefs have origins. Most of them aren't yours — they were handed to you.
3. Ask what it costs you. Not in the abstract. This week. This month. This decade.
4. Write a replacement you can actually test. Not an affirmation. A hypothesis. "I can sit with discomfort for 10 minutes without acting on it." Then run the experiment.
Beliefs aren't facts. They're tools. When one stops working, put it down and pick up a better one.
Brown University is one of the most elite universities in the world.
All the students lie and cheat.
When they become politicians, doctors, lawyers, scientists, business leaders, they keep cheating.
If you wonder why things are the way they are, that is why.

I’m really excited about what’s going on with Digital Ray, which is my digital twin. I'm creating this so that everyone can have as much contact and as many conversations with me as they want—unlimited amounts, in the same sort of way that I do it. Eventually, it’s going to be a lot smarter than I am.
This is all part of the evolutionary process. It’s still a bit experimental, but it really is something. If you want to have unlimited conversations with me, go online and try it.
I also highly recommend taking the Principles You personality test. It’s online and only takes about 20 or 30 minutes. It will tell you all about your characteristics and inclinations. Integrating your assessment with Digital Ray allows for highly personalized guidance in Coach Mode, tailored to your unique needs across life and work.

The US is trying to cut China off from its best AI models, but a massive grey market has opened up, selling access to models like Claude and ChatGPT for as little as 10 cents on the dollar. They call them "transfer stations," and they run right out in the open on GitHub, Taobao, and Telegram.
In today's Monday recap: how the black market works, why you're the product and not the customer, and why the White House is calling China's "industrial-scale" AI distillation a national security threat. This is the new front in the US–China tech war — and nobody has figured out how to win it.
