Boss fights the most convenient tool for a game designer and storyteller. They're the most memorable for a reason. Constrained, unique, difficulty spike/skill check, character climax, you name it. All games can benefit, but not all games do it well.

i used to love digital ocean. so easy to do anything, just select your github repo and boom they set up the whole back end for you

but i realize now its SO expensive. a TB bandwidth out is $20. on hetzner its $1.2 (17x~ cheaper)

before it used to be a bit of a hassle to manually setup your own VPS, but now with AI, they will give you line by line perfect instructions to setup everything

don't use any of these managed services anymore, they will gouge you in fees. just go with a raw box and do everything yourself
