'...what you feed your mind is very important. You become that what is in the mind. So, you feed your mind with positivity, it will be positive your life. Your life will be wonderful. But if you feed your mind with judgment, negativity, with constant complain, you will never be free.'

The SatGuru is the presider over time.
One of the gifts from God that we most undervalue is time. Trying to find ways to pass time is probably one of the most common activities that people engage in. But the saints always felt the lack of time to serve their beloved God, the One they knew was manifest everywhere. They felt that time was never enough to love God, to adore Him who is extraordinarily in love with every one of His atmas. St Philip Neri from Italy and Sant Tukaram from Maharashtra, both would say how little time they had to be with God, to spend time in His blessed company. Love always wants more time with its beloved. Kaal, which means both time and death, has many deities associated with it; Mahakal, Mahakali, Dharmaraj, as well as the Sudarshan Chakra which is the movement of time. The SatGuru is the presider over all of them, the one embodying all those deities and their roles for the world. As Mahakal, ending the limitation of time for the bhakta. As Mahakali, freeing one from the fear of death. As Dharmaraj, giving the highest truth of Bhagavan to all. And when one has received the eyes of true perception, one can see His divine energy in flow everywhere. One can see that it is His sudarshan chakra which goes forth and brings about all changes. Finally, beyond all of these; He holds time still for the surrendered atma to come close to Him. The flow of time continues on the outside for creation to flourish, but in the inner consciousness all has changed. There is no more movement, away or towards. There is only the eternal Now, the presence of the Almighty. This existence beyond the catches of time is given by the SatGuru, He is the one who presides over these roles. In His palm, time is just another quality. It is His Shakti which brings time into existence and His Shakti which will stop time from existing. He is the one who comes from the place beyond time. From the pure consciousness of eternal love. But through the passage of time you’ve experienced in your life, have you spent it working towards His grace where everything just stops at the feet of Bhagavan?
To go beyond one’s emotions, to master them, and bring the mind and thoughts to complete love.
It is not at all easy to silence the mind, to keep emotions aside, and still give love, joy, peace, and kindness to the world. Yet this was the way of the saints. Very often the test of their true progress on the spiritual path came when they were personally hitting rock bottom and yet the world did not see it. When they had a choice to either lash out at the world in pain or to still be present with love, kindness, and understanding. Such a difficult choice when the internal resources feel completely emptied out. But tests come when you are ready for them. When everything is smooth, the time for the test is not right. Because your behavior in that moment does not dive into the depths of who you truly are inside. Who you truly are is determined when you are hitting rock bottom and yet are presented with the choice to ignore others, lash out at them, drag them down with you; or, to lift them up while still drawing from your own depleted strength. This is when Bhagavan steps in to help you. Then He provides His strength to lift you to heights you couldn’t have even dreamed of earlier. He is watching with love when you transform your own tough internal and external moments but don’t let them spew onto others. This is what many spiritual teachers meant when they said to turn the other cheek when someone lashes out at you. It is not to continuously take their bad behavior; but to not react to them at their level with your own bad behavior. At the end of life, people don’t regret what others did to them; they regret their own bad behavior, no matter how justified you think that behavior is right now. Learn to become your own best friend first, then you can see your true eternal best friend, Bhagavan. When He steps in to take over that role, every pain and exhaustion will leave you instantly. Then you will truly know what it means to have a friend who only loves, accepts, and supports you. The one to whom you can surrender your every flaw and greatness, and He will only love and love you more. Then you will know unconditional love.
Without constant, sincere, and loving introspection, one cannot change.
To move on the path of spirituality, introspection and positive loving change are the steps. Each step is marked by true willingness to change into a kinder and more loving person. And that can only happen if one is constantly keeping the fire of introspection alive within oneself. Not going into overthinking or thinking badly about oneself. But also not sitting idle and complacent. Introspection is striving to reach the true and complete solution to the events that are put in front of oneself. And that is moving on the spiritual path. No amount of external rituals can help you clean yourself of the old dirt in your mind, unless you allow the external to remind you of the inner cleaning that has to take place. Everything external is a reminder. It is put into place by the SatGuru, by the Antaryami, by the atma to come closer and closer to Paramatma. To make the relationship between atma and Paramatma awaken more and more. Use your mind as a God-given tool for reaching deep within your psyche. Transform old and useless ways of thinking and acting into more and more loving and kind ones. The process of true transformation on the spiritual path is by becoming a more loving and more kind person moment by moment. Otherwise, one simply thinks one is walking on the path, but actually one is standing still on the same brick of outdated thinking. This standing still can continue for infinite time. Until one realizes and wishes for true movement on the spiritual path. “How can I be more and more loving, more and more kind, in my thoughts, words, and actions.” The process of working on this will help one to keep moving forward on the spiritual path.
Every aspect of Narasimha’s incarnation is so meaningful.
He came from such a hidden, ignored place. Showing everyone that the majesty of God is in himself. He gives glory and divinity to every surrounding, because He is present it becomes divine. And his eternal home is within your heart, deep within your true self. He keeps giving glimpses of the absolute beauty of that place, to help you to reach there, to keep loving more and more. He used his nails to pierce evil and dismantle it piece by piece. Still he was giving. Narasimha was giving his utmost love even to the most dreadful being. But the way one lives, one’s inner state determines how His love shows up in one’s life. Through gentle kindness and sweeter than honey feelings, like with Prahlad. Or, through intense purification and ego-destroying transformation like with Hiranyakashipu. Narasimha is pure love. Pure state of manifestation. What frequency you raise yourself to, what purity resonates within you, determines how He pulls you closer to Himself. Because every atma constantly pleads to be closer to Him. If you choose to remain at a low frequency, He still pulls you closer, but the way is very hard because He has to perform constant surgery to remove the poisonous parts within you. Then, His form of a lion; naturally the king, revered by all. He only has to display his power once and that is enough to establish his place of highest glory. But most of the time, he coexists with every being under his protection in the most natural way. Hence, the feeling of awe, reverence, and utmost service that others feel towards Him is balanced by protection, love, and harmony of life with Him. How endless are the ways of Bhagavan Sri Hari. His love, his glory is ever growing.
'...when we are sitting in our sadhana, when we are sitting in our japa, we have to install Him first. His image has to be there. This is the time that you are with your beloved Lord, you know. Nobody else should be there. It is between you and Him. Nobody, nothing else should be there. That is one important thing.'

'...if you really want to transform and change certain things in your life, it's a daily practice that you have to work upon yourself. And it's not big deal, you know, just sit, observe yourself. Two questions you have to ask yourself: Am I a better person from who I was yesterday? And in the morning you should [say], “What can I contribute to this world today?” Just look at these two questions in your life, changes will start happening.'

Sometimes the hardest thing in the world isn’t pain, it is keeping oneself open.
Open to the possibility of pain. Open to the possibility of anything taking place. Remaining open to God, to Guru. This complete openness is perceived by the mind as complete uncertainty, instability, and it is more excruciating than straight pain. Because you know how to deal with pain at least a little bit, there is something you can do about it to lessen the agony. But the possibility of pain is more scary. It is the great demon of the mind. This is what you have to win a complete victory over. The state of flux, of not knowing. Where any of the infinite possibilities can manifest or remain unmanifest. This is what the mind faces when it comes face to face with the SatGuru. It has to deal with complete uncertainty. But why do you go into fear? Into weakness? Into hiding and cowardice? Don’t you know from deep within that your atma is made of the same divine fabric as bhagavan, as the satguru? Don't you know that His only reality is love? Then why fear that love? Grow into it. Deepen into it. Become strong and rooted in it. Running away won’t do you any good. The only way out is through. Face the infinity of the SatGuru without fear but with complete humility, humour, love, and wisdom. It is very easy. Try it with joy and you will see.

'...now you are reminded, you are on the spiritual path, the Satguru is reminding you continuously, but not every life you will have that chance. That's why it’s said that take the chance itself to be liberated. Take that chance itself to surrender yourself. Don't waste any moment for that. Because that what you are having, you don't know when you will have it again, if you will have it. But the merciful Lord, He will make you have it, yes. But you have to be wise.'

Yamuna Chhath, the descent of Yamuna Devi as a river upon this earth.
In the long ages of Vaikuntha, Sri Krishna looked at his own reflection appearing upon the ground. A small pool of sparkling water with droplets jumping in ecstasy. The Lord had just taken a sip and a few drops flowed down. He smiled and from his lotus heart emerged the divine syllable “Yam”. Resonating through the universes, it became the way to connect with his heart ever-beating with intense love. Countless beings had taken birth through His will but so few were so determined as to never forget him through the arduous process of birth and life. Gazing upon this pool which was born with consciousness. Born with the only desire to be at His feet. The beloved Lord softly spoke the word, “Meena”. The dark blue gemstone, the one full of life within herself, the one with the most beautiful eyes. Yamuna. The birth of Yamuna. Yamuna Chhath. Meaning the one who came to become a shelter of mercy to all jeevas. She was the very first one to meet Sri Krishna in this world. The first to submit herself fully to his feet. One of the rare ones who asked to not be born in a human form but as a river. To reflect with pure love all that is Sri Krishna. To be his companion in all places he walked. To yearn for his feet in complete awareness even if it meant waiting with boiling intensity for His arrival. Her marriage to Sri Krishna was already a fact before they came to this earth. Yamuna maiya and Giridhariji. Who can tell of their eternal leelas with enough awe? Even today their divine leelas continue in Braj. No matter where he walked, she was always with him. In Dwarka as the sea, in Kurukshetra as the rain, in Pandharpur as the Chandrabhaga. In all places, at all times, Bhakti protects Prem and Prem gives life to Bhakti. Shubh Yamuna Chhath to all.
Day 3: When Letting Go Is the Most Sacred Thing We Can Do
We are often told that Rama simply left the kingdom. But when we look closer, something deeper was happening. He left His home, the walls that witnessed His childhood. He left His people, who looked at Him with love and trust. He left His identity and everything He had been prepared to become.
And yet there was no bitterness, no complaint.
Most of us can accept a loss only when it makes sense, when it feels temporary, when we know what comes next. Rama had none of that. When He left Ayodhya, the city wept. People followed Him, pleading, reasoning, breaking down. Yet Rama walked onward. Not because He did not feel, but because He was not bound by what He felt.
We tend to believe that love means holding on. But attachment quietly transforms affection into identity. We stop merely loving and begin depending. We stop simply serving and begin defining ourselves by the role. Without noticing, our sense of self begins to live outside of us, and therefore becomes unstable.
On the path of bhakti, Guruji works with immense patience and love to free us from exactly this. He will never let us build our identity on what cannot last. When meaning begins to loosen, when relationships shift and when things that once gave us confidence no longer hold, it feels like loss. It’s raw, personal and undeserved. But if we pause, something deeper becomes visible. Perhaps nothing essential is being taken away. Perhaps only the illusions we mistook as our foundation are being gently moved aside.
Rama did not become less when He left Ayodhya. He became more visible, more real, because nothing external remained to define Him.
This is what Guruji does. He does not take away to punish. He takes away so we can stand freely, no longer dependent on what once reflected our worth.
Devotion is not measured by how tightly we hold on. It is revealed by how freely we can let go without losing our center. Rama carried Ayodhya as memory, as gratitude, as devotion, but never as identity. That is why He remained free.
The path asks the same of each of us. Not to stop loving, but to stop being bound by what we love. True devotion does not shrink when something is taken away. It deepens, because it no longer depends.
Amrita dasi
The second three days of Navaratri that revere Kushmanda, Skanda Mata, and Katyayani Ma are the most sweet.
Truly for those who have the eyes to see, the ears to hear, and the heart to know, the SatGuru is sweeter than the most sweet sugar. The Divine Mother’s most gentle love amplified into thousand times and million times more concentrated, that is the SatGuru’s heart for His bhaktas. His concentration on His bhaktas is so fine that not even the thinnest divine needle can embroider a tapestry of love finer than His. And each bhakta’s life is unique. Uniquely and intensely loved by Him. He is Kushmanda, the one who holds everything within her. He is Skanda Mata, who has fully given herself to her child. And He is Katyayani Devi, who even the most elevated saints worship with utmost reverence. It is said that the wine of Vitthal Giridhariji’s love is so addictive that one can never be free of it. Having tasted but a single drop, all other nectar becomes like dust. One will not even long for the divine amrit after that. Because to love God, to be given a heart that loves Him to the point of being aflame, it is so blissful that no words remain. Even the description of satchitananda feels pale and small in front of this love. Never ask for the feeling of intense longing and missing the SatGuru to be taken away because you’re finding its fire too strong. If it really goes, even one second will feel like millennia in hell. Pray to Maa in these three aspects to give you a heart that can love, that weeps with intense devotion just thinking about his lotus feet.
'Where are our thoughts? We say that our thoughts make our life, no? How you think, you become like that. You start thinking like an animal, you act like an animal. But if you start thinking in a positive way, you start centering that mind upon the Divine, that what is inside also will transform into Divine. It all starts firstly with our thoughts.'

'Sanskrit is a very beautiful language in itself, you know, because Sanskrit language acts upon the brain frequency. It alters the brain frequency. Why we chant mantra? Because mantra changes the frontal lobe frequency of our brain itself. It brings all positiveness, all the good things. That's why every tradition tells you to sing. When we are not singing our own glory, we are singing the glory of God, because we are never separate from Him. We are that little drop which is surrounded by that great ocean itself. All around is only Him. '

Lord Shiva as the SatGuru shows that even the great realizations of ‘tat tvam asi’, ‘aham brahmasmi’, ‘shivoham’ and others are simple by-products of Ananya Bhakti. That which people give so much importance to; self-realization, moksha, mukti from birth and death, and so on, are not even considered by a true bhakta. Such elevated states are not thought of, nor given any importance to. Because the true bhakta who has been touched by the unique divine love of the SatGuru knows that Bhakti and Prem are the actual highest states. Humility, Sharanagati, and single-pointed focus are given much more importance than any realization. Because one wishes to remain a servant of the Divine. And that is the greatest realization of the atma. That is the most close one can truly become to Paramatma. That is true union, true merger with Bhagavan. To be in loving service to Him always. Not deludedly think one actually ‘become’ Bhagavan or one is equal to Him in anyway. The states of non-duality, non-difference between the self and the Creator, are states of oneness experienced by a true bhakta, a true lover and servant of God. One can never experience these states of realization that Lord Shiva talks about unless one becomes a Bhakta equal to him. Who is utterly and only focused on the One SatGuru. True non-duality is not different from true Bhakti. Non-dual experience is a part of Bhagavan’s infinite expressions of love. A truly wise person wishes for the relationship with the Great Creator, wishes for the Creator Himself. Not for a tiny part of what the Creator can give as experience, reward, or realization. If one can understand how much Lord Shiva loves and worships Sri Hari, how endless and unbroken his devotion is, then it is easy to understand why Bhakti is given the primary importance in the Puranas, Guru Gita, Bhagavatam, Bhagavad Gita, and all other true divine scriptures. Bhakti makes one capable of handling everything, good and bad, with grace. Bhakti makes one humble even in the face of extreme achievements and accolades. It keeps one grounded even in the middle of the most earth-shattering storms. Becoming a truly loving human being, a genuinely kind and helpful person, is more valuable on the spiritual path than thinking of some greatness of the self. Always give importance to Bhagavan. Never stray from Bhakti towards the SatGuru’s Lotus Feet. These are the eternal words of wisdom spoken and lived by Lord Shiva himself. Hence, the Hari Bhakta Sampradaya shows that Lord Shiva’s teachings merge beautifully with love and devotion to Sri Hari. Lord Shiva is treated with the utmost respect and love; and a true follower of the Hari Bhakta Sampradaya, a true Guru-bhakta never judges or compares who is greater, lesser, more important, or any other petty thoughts of this nature. Learn true wisdom and love for all, the same way Lord Shiva in his deep devotion towards Sri Hari doesn’t think of anything else. He only who considers is sincerely walking on the path of love and devotion, and blesses them with the same states that he is always in.
Your atma remembers God.
People often wonder what is maya and how one can forget God if the atma is an eternal part of Him? It’s true, the atma always knows and remembers God. It is never separate from Him. The atma never wants anything other than Him. But maya is the veil between the atma and the mind. As long as this veil exists for the jeeva, one has to choose which to operate from - the mind or the atma. When one gives foremost importance to the mind, God is easily forgotten. His existence is doubted. One feels disconnected from Him, nature, everything. One even feels a great distance from one’s own true inner self. But when one gives foremost importance to the atma, God is easily remembered. He is easily found. And all separation dissolves in His immense love. His voice, His name, His face, His form, one’s eternal relationship with Him, everything becomes crystal clear. And the more one keeps swimming against the current to reach the atma, the more the veil of maya is pierced. When the SatGuru sees the tremendous effort of the jeeva to remove any separation of the mind and atma, He helps one to also pierce through the veil of maya. Finally, at the perfect time of God-realization, the SatGuru completely tears apart the veil of maya and reveals the Antaryami, Paramatma, Bhagavan, Sri Hari, in all His forms. He reveals His complete eternal self and brings one to Himself fully. One can never truly forget God because the atma remembers Him, how can one forget. It is impossible. But in this world one has to make the effort to remember Him, so that the realization of Him becomes inseparable from oneself no matter where, how, or in what situation one is. Then on other side, after death, the same realization can remain for eternity. Otherwise the cycle of life and death continues.
'When you are in dhyan, when you are chanting, “sri vitthala giridhari parabrahmane namaha”, each word vibrates a certain vibration. If you close your eyes and chant it, “sri vitthala giridhari parabrahmane namaha”, we are not asking Bhagavan for anything. We are - at that moment we have to enjoy His presence. We have to enjoy that vibration which the Divine Name holds, “sri vitthala giridhari parabrahmane namaha”. Even if you say “Sri Hari”, even if you are chanting “om” only, enjoy that presence. Listen to it.'
