My scripture says we must have self control and discipline. I believe any addiction is a habit gone bad. Yes it is very hard to quit and there are withdrawals, but once you quit your body starts to heal itself. What other disease does that?

@kellying1022 No I have a hard time fasting because eating is one way of not drinking. I will fast for 12 to 18 hours with juice and water only tho.

@CarmenStuder Yes it is. My dad's mom knew it. She was a a traveling revival preacher early in her life. She had met the demonic and taught on the power of the Holy Spirit. She taught me this as a child. I realize now that God has protected me all my life because of my grandma's prayers.

@CarmenStuder This book has also helped me understand my addiction and trauma better. It made me see that I am under demonic generational ties. My mom was into Wicca when she was young.

@CarmenStuder I don't know of I agree with the term loose, but yes, we feed them with our fear, addictions, our actions. Have you ever read This Present Darkness by Frank E. Peretti? It's a series of three books and I think it does a good job depicting demonic entities.
