We were raised to to be responsible for ourselves, self regulate our emotions, problem solve our own issues, critically think for ourselves, learn the lesson of life by trial and error, defuse situations with other people, use our imaginations, and just get shit done. We fought in the school yards during lunch breaks and broke bones falling of th metal playground equipment. We partied our asses off til 4am and still made to class in the morning at college. We now run businesses and corporations and laugh at all the younger generations who need "safe spaces" and take "mental days off" from work. We are the last great generation this country has produced.
