@Eurocarparks_CS
Hi Eurocarparks_CS Just wondering how I can get to hold a short conversation with you. I was unfamiliar with your car park at Waitrose Greenwich and so didn’t scan a chit they gave me for a 10 min visit to return a product @JohnLewisRetail request. HELP PLEASE!
Delighted that #RachelReeves has decided to requisition my unneeded #winter fuelpayment , which I past years I have donated to Crisis at Christmas. Memo to self “Think of another trigger to small scale philanthropy.”
1 in 10 of us face a 3 week wait for a GP appointment. With hundreds of GPs facing closure wait times could get even higher. The Government need a proper plan to save GPs from closure. Agree? Join me today & sign the petition: https://t.co/5rhZ4Dbw9g via @38degrees
Aged care workers in Australia to get 23% average pay rise as union heralds move as ‘one of the best outcomes’ ever achieved. A real benchmark for under valued care workers world wide. https://t.co/qNQRsCHmlU
Have these jump on/ jump off city bikes added anything to our way of life? They litter our pavements, obstruct and spoil the environment. I say ban them or put them in a cage.
On the opening of the once Conservative, now right wing populist party, could their scribbled tree logo perhaps be replaced by the vandalized sycamore? https://t.co/K6F25livgL
@StephenBevan@hospiceuk@DyingMatters Stephen, I have always admired your professionalism, creativity and spirit of welcoming collaboration and friendship in the areas where our work has overlapped. Now I salute your for your bravery and fortitude in face of this sad, horrible illness. You really are an inspiration !
Or take the emblem of hi-tech consumer society, the #Dyson vacuum cleaner, it breaks down. A replacement part is purchased directed by a “fault diagnosing” flashing light, but it doesn’t work. Who is there to speak to? No-one! They don’t want to hear the public’s voices anymore!
Now that I am closing in on 80, is it just me or do others not see anything strange in the cyber de-peopled world we live in today. Waiting HOURS for public services to answer the phone, sent to websites that give no answers, when an expensive piece of equipment malfunctions.
In a world where older people are locked away with their solitude and loneliness, why have Sainsbury’s removed all the people from their checkout desks? We used to enjoy a little chat with the checkout person, now we face the struggles of anonymous machines, taking twice as long
Disabled artist Hannah James (my lovely daughter) is holding her first solo exhibition 16th June to 5th July at the Woolwich Front Room, Powys Street SE18. I am so proud of her! And in the same month as she started working for @EntelechyArts as Assistant Director!
Watching from the rickety stands of the Boleyn Ground since the good old days when chants of “Harry Redknapp’s Claret and blue army, and we delighted in the skills of Ferdinand, Cole, Carrick, Lampard, Di Canio, but never dreamed we would make a Euro final. Come on you Irons!
I did one of these courses after driving at 25 mph in a 20 mph limit, only I did it on line on Teams. I wonder why Suella Braverman didn’t do the same. She could easily have gone unnoticed,
But she had to fiddle the system to her advantage instead. Not only dishonest - not clever
The PM was asked three times whether Suella Braverman was right to ask Whitehall officials for help on the private matter of her speeding penalty. This is all he would say: “I don’t know the full details of what has happened, nor have I spoken to the Home Secretary - I think you can see first hand what I have been doing over the last few day or so. I understand she has expressed regret for speeding and accepted the penalty and paid the fine”. To state the obvious, he refused to answer the question, three times.
After a surreal few days, I’m delighted that we have navigated a way through this. I want to thank you all for the incredible support, particularly my colleagues at BBC Sport, for the remarkable show of solidarity. Football is a team game but their backing was overwhelming. 1/4
Disgraceful that @GaryLineker has been pulled from presenting #MatchOfTheDay because he shared his conscientious views on UK Government's policies re asylum seekers and small boats. Well done Sir Gary! Stay with it! You will be back!
