@MonoyashaDvC The way I felt all of this after having our kid is 1/1 exact. It's an awful feeling. I've spent wayyy too long thinking about this and feeling sick to my stomach but yeah like I said people still love hand cast stuff! I still don't have the energy to learn 3d modeling either.

@MonoyashaDvC I think if you compare it to stop motion vs digital graphics in film, Lots of people are wanting the raw gritty hand made stuff just as much as the streamlined quick stuff. In a different way. Embracing that what we do may be kind of ... nostalgic? now? is totally a thing.

@MonoyashaDvC The advancements have come SO FAST and SO HARD I feel pointless and like I should give up. I just put so much effort into my methods I don't have the skills to 3d model. I can't afford a 3d printer and my kid lets me actually experiment 1/50th of the time I used to.

Akyon the maned wolf has headed home to @AkyonWolf! He'll have paws and a tail coming up soon as well. He's built on my sighthound base, and I loved having the opportunity to try using it cross-species! It worked out very nicely with minor modifications.

@CreatureHaven I made a "methods" page on my website that's kind of like a tos but not really super serious more like this is how I make the heads this is what it would be like. so people can decide if it's not quite what they want in features before even inquiring.

The weird thing about artists being good at what they do is they don't always make for good teachers, managers or even mentors. There's other skillsets that need picking up and some folks just aren't built for dealing with people being people.

Got the moveable ears working!
Took 7 iterations of hinge design, multiple ear redesigns, and quite a bit of adjustment.

But now they can be in 3 positions:
Relaxed-->Alert-->Cute (drawn back)

Got all the structure done!
Next step is furring this head. Going to use bigz flexible faux fur and 5mm minky
