　人民元決済が急拡大し、原油取引や貿易で利用が進む。イランも通航料に暗号資産と人民元を指定。ペトロダラー体制は揺らぎ、決済は暗号資産、外貨準備は金へと分散が進む。「ドル一強」は静かに転換点を迎えており、円を含む高債務国通貨には価値下落のリスクが高まっている――之は今月4日、朝倉智也さん（@tomoyaasakura）がツイートしたものです。
　パックス・ブリタニカが第二次世界大戦の終結と共に終わり、ドルを基軸通貨とするパックス・アメリカーナもまた終焉に向かっています。
　嘗て英国は7つの海を支配し、「英国の領土に日没することなし」と言われた時代がありましたが、植民地を失い、経済力を失って行き、そして二度の大戦で国富の多くを失い、軍事力も急速に衰えて行きました。その結果多額の借金を米国に依存しポンド基軸通貨体制を維持出来なくなりましたが、米国のドル基軸通貨体制も1971年8月15日リチャード・ニクソンによる金ドル兌換停止時に終わったと見ることも出来ましょう。
　米国は今、ドル基準通貨体制の終焉のとどめとなり得るペトロダラーシステムの崩壊に向けた序章の始まりと言える現実に直面しています。
　半世紀に亘りドル覇権を支えたオイルマネーが変調を来す中で、覇権維持を目指すのであれば「ジーニアス法…ステーブルコイン発行のルール厳格化」に続く「クラリティー法案…デジタルアセットの管轄機関明確化等」の成立を早期に図り、一刻も早くステーブルコインを世界中に広め、ドルをオンチェーンに持ち込んで行かねばなりません――この新たなデジタル資産は、暗号資産が持つ利便性と、法定通貨の安定性とを兼ね備え、金融システムの構造的課題に対する突破口となる可能性を秘めている。米国は、ドルに連動するステーブルコインの発展を戦略的課題として明確に位置づけている。これは米ドルの基軸通貨としての地位を、アナログな領域にとどまらず、デジタルでも堅持しようとする意思の表れであろう。また、この施策は経済活動の効率化および財政の健全化をも視野に入れている。（…北尾吉孝日記2025年5月22日）
　米国は今回のイランとの戦争も一つには、原油を巡り中国を締め上げようと企図したのかもしれませんが、ニコラス・マドゥーロのベネズエラのようには行きませんでした。当初この戦争は世界的にはポジティブとネガティブの両面を有し、米国とイランの何方が正しいとは一概には評し得なかったと思います。現況に至っては、米国の長期弱体化を望む中露の動向は元より、深刻化の一途を辿る米欧間の亀裂が、事を難解極まりないようにしています。レイ・ダリオも言うように、ホルムズ海峡の行方次第で米国は覇権を喪失して行くことになるでしょう。
