My therapist told me, "When a woman grows up feeling unseen, she learns to love by overgiving. She pours into everyone else, hoping that one day someone will finally pour back into her. She becomes the caretaker, the fixer, the one who shows up even when no one shows up for her. And the hardest part? Deep down, she's not trying to be strong. She's just waiting for someone to do for her what she's spent her whole life doing for everyone else."
I don’t want to "download the app" to pay for parking. I don’t want to "create an account" to see a menu. I don’t want to "provide feedback" on a 30-second interaction. I just want to exist in the physical world without a digital leash.
@nonnie11110@TSUpdating Most of the budget is probably on the venue and feeding the insane amount of guests amazing food. Having money doesn't mean you have to spend a thousand dollars on a bouquet literally meant to be thrown into a crowd.
a lesson i learned this year is that a person's capacity for growth is directly linked to how much truth they can face about themselves without running away
Hey @CNN why do you feel it's appropriate to write that it's "open season" on a woman who you have reported on having violent stalkers and an attempted terrorist attack on one of her shows?
