$SPY Pro Trading Tip 📝

Here’s a simple way to determine daily price direction for day trading👇

Mark the Previous Days High & Low. I create a small zone for each using the 15 minute chart ✅

Mark the Pre Market High & Low. I use a single dotted line for both so it’s easy to identify ✅

Use these 4 areas as your range indicator. They are really helpful for determining choppy days from trend days.

If price breaks over both the PDH & PMH then buyers are likely in control, look for calls on the dips 📈

If price breaks under both the PDL & PML then sellers are likely in control, look for puts on the pullbacks 📉

If we are in the middle of these levels then price is in range and much more likely to be choppy, play cautiously 📈📉

Use as a loose guide and add in your favorite trading techniques to assist you into trades 🤙

$SPY One of my favorite things to scan for while market is chopping around are bull/bear flags.

I scan through the 5, 10, 15 minute charts to see if we have any structured pullbacks to watch.

This 15 minute flag on $QQQ today was a good example. When flags like this break it often brings in enough momentum to push us out of that choppy area ⬇️
