Held on Tuesday, 30 June 2026, the workshop was organised under the theme: “AI, Online Harms & The Human Cost: Strengthening Frontline Resilience.”
The Cyber Security Authority has led a coordinated investigation resulting in the arrest and prosecution of a high‑interest suspect linked to transnational cyber‑enabled financial crimes involving compromised U.S. banking cards.

The visit provided participants with an in-depth understanding of the Authority’s mandate and other strategic cybersecurity initiatives. Officials of the Authority highlighted the evolving cybersecurity threat landscape.
He also presided over the inaugural Arab-Africa Cybersecurity Roundtable and received a Special Achievement Award in recognition of his contribution to cybersecurity policy, resilience, capacity building, and international cooperation.

Ghana’s growing leadership in cybersecurity was in focus at CAISEC 2026 in Cairo, with Mr. Divine Selase Agbeti, Director-General of the Cyber Security Authority and Chair of ANCA, placing the country at the centre of continental cybersecurity dialogue.
During the conference, Mr. Agbeti delivered a keynote address calling for stronger regional collaboration, greater investment in cybersecurity capacity, and coordinated responses to emerging cyber threats across Africa.
