@OneJoblessBoy All that time I should've invested In a goat, I was fighting to watch cartoon..
We really do need to change the quality of what we call governance and the way in which we grant the privilege to officials
@segalink@Ekitiketekan Lol talking from both sides of your mouth are we. You both downplayed the issues raised by other citizens not long ago, but hey, agenda's agend. To everyone else keep government accountable, that's our job as citizens.
@Akinwal64049156@nigimmigration I'm in a similar situation, no channel of communication is responsive. When they do respond, they don't act. Most testimonies say to go there physically and spend the entire day waiting.. with no guarantees.
It is unacceptable that people in the UK are being given passport appointment dates as far as January, 2027.
This issue has been raised repeatedly, yet nothing changes. The demand clearly outweighs the current capacity, and it is long overdue for practical solutions.
We urgently need additional consular services in cities like Glasgow, Cardiff, Belfast, and Newcastle. It is not reasonable for everyone to travel to London for essential services.
This is not just an inconvenience, it affects peopleโs livelihoods, travel plans, and legal documentation.
We cannot keep quiet until it affects us personally.
I urge everyone experiencing this to speak up and tag the embassy @Nigerialondon
Our collective voices are the only way to push for change.
@fisayosoyombo@fijnigeria@nigimmigration might be worth revisiting your piece on the nig immigration. Consistent racketeering, lack of professionalism and extortion remain the order of the day, home and abroad.
"Functional" is relative. Even outside Nigeria, that system is still loaded with issues. I complained about this weeks ago and till today, nothing forthcoming from @nigimmigration I have over $200 for this service and am stuck after the system initially accepted my Fingerprints process only to send me a failed notification and now requires me to go for an appointment.
I am not the only one in this same boat.
