@easyJetholidays Appalling. 8 hrs in Lanzarote airport yesterday with no info. You finally cancelled the flight at midnight and said you couldn’t help us to find anywhere to stay. You have now delayed our flight today so another 5 hrs at the airport. Digusting on all levels.

@KirstieMAllsopp Always better to bash the teachers than accept that mistakes were made higher up. In Sept thousands of students will be without specialist teachers in front of them. We have a enormous recruitment crisis and tweets like yours make more amazing teachers walk away.

@KirstieMAllsopp But that wasn’t the reality. We were shouting about a lot at the time but no one listened. Does that seriously surprise you? Do you remember who was in charge of education? Blaming the teachers on the bottom of the pile, again, is the reason why so many are leaving.

@KirstieMAllsopp But the teachers had no say whatsoever. The unions never asked teachers what they wanted. We were pawns in it all as well. We taught online from day one and believe you me, we would have done anything not to do it a second time.

@DEEEPECK @garyfoskett @DavidLammy @LBC We’d miss half of the first lesson, let alone registration if we all turned up at 9am. 7.30am for most staff at my school- that is earlier than most of my non teacher friends.

@KirstieMAllsopp I teach in a successful state secondary school in outer London and I also have two younger teenage children. This is, without doubt, total rubbish. I am not sure where they get their data from but this is not the reality of the situation.

@KirstieMAllsopp I completely agree. My 13 year exclaimed that there was a cream egg flavour coming out for Easter. She doesn’t vape but she thought it was cool. Why are we allowing the companies to market them to young teenagers? It’s out of control but could so easily be stopped.
