Some updates from the accessibility side of @MicrosoftTeams. You can now do some basic customization of the presentation of your captions in Teams meetings as well as toggle the profanity filter for Live Captions/Transcription.

PowerPoint Live now has closed captions! It helps those who are deaf or hard of hearing, have difficulty processing auditory information, have a language barrier, or join the meeting from a loud environment to understand video content better. Details: https://t.co/6DguEGLT1a

@RNID @MissJelby @Microsoft@MicrosoftTeams Hi there, Julie, to clarify the rumor that you heard, the Live Translated Captions feature will be available as part of the Teams Premium offering. Live Captions will remain as-is and will continue to be available to everyone.
I will be in Prague during the last week of April visiting the @Microsoft office there. I'd love to be able to connect with the Deaf community in Czechia, Belgium, or elsewhere in Europe to learn more about how you use @MicrosoftTeams. Any leads would be greatly appreciated!

I hate that this is the current experience. We need to get that fixed. We have an item on our backlog/roadmap to address all of that. Bear with us. We'll get there.
@jjowensdev Live Translated Captions will require Teams Premium. This is our upcoming feature that will allow you to translate Live Captions into different languages. The current Live Captions feature will continue to be available as it is today.
