@tylermilliken_ So true, they had been really lucky the last two starts by Rivera. He looked weak against Tampa and like he absolutely didnt belong anywhere near MLB vs Orioles. Hope he has a safe trip to Worcester. Maybe he & Seigler can carpool, I think his hot streak is over too.

@BostonTBA 100%! Keep him away. I was particulary unimpressed with his defense in the series vs Sox. Errors aside, he just seemed slower fielding and getting the ball to first than most SS.
I wont even get into what impact his ego would have

@SmittyOnMLB Rivera should've stayed in AA.He looked terrible. I know he was in AAA for a bit too but he doesnt look like a AAA arm. Swnd him to AA, teach him to throw strikes, and another pitch type or two. Keep him out of MLB for the rest of the year at least.

@RedSoxBresident @EdHand89 Wtf do you think a pitch count is? It's not a number they pull out of a hat. It's a number they decided on based on analytics and projections of how much they expect him to throw this year. The eye test or common sense test would be, how does he look out there...

I dont think Tracy isnt a great MLB manager. He is to analytics-drive, to an extent where he sometimes disregards common sense. On a sliding scale, Tracy is too far to the analytical side of the scale, IMO

@EdHand89 Tracy starting Duran at DH instead of Yoshida and eaton in LF. Duran has been one of the worst everyday hitters in all of baseball. His defense has been his only redeeming quality. Yoshida has a 8-game hit streak and has been swinging a great bat recently.

@EdHand89 Cool dude, I dislike his managing. Very poor feel for who/when to pinch hit, and his bullpen/pitching management is highly questionable.
I.e. Pulling Tolle with 2 outs in the 4th inning @ 68 pitches when he has 7k's and rolling and replace him
with Bello.
