From our workshops that test out the two tone tune to officers deploying to jobs, this little fella has been sat patiently observing the noise to recreate it! 🐦⬛
My god. What an indictment of 12 years of Tory govt.
@C4Ciaran has compared NHS performance in 2023 with that in 2011:
▪️x10 worse 4-hour A&E waits
▪️x13 worse 18 wk waits for care
▪️x14 worse cancer waits
▪️x16 worse 4-hour trolley waits
▪️x3,000 worse 12-hour trolley waits
The CQC are inspecting our maternity services and welcome feedback from patients / people who have given birth or used our maternity services from March 2022 up until 31 May 2023. You can use this link to tell CQC about our service https://t.co/qel86oNPQ8
@metoffice@metoffice lovely to see my hometown of Reading included in this, I think you mean in the county of Berkshire though and not Berskshire as suggested!
Everyone knows nurses are striking because they are demoralised, downtrodden, exploited & run ragged.
This kind of belligerent, bullyboy behaviour is so spectacularly counterproductive - unless, @SteveBarclay, you are actually intent on breaking NHS staff???
Labour will reform the NHS:
Self referrals for patients.
Double the number of graduating doctors and district nurses.
Increase training places for nurses and midwives.
Free up GPs to focus on patients.
With Labour, patients will get the service they need.
STEVE BARCLAY, Health Secretary
Coooeeeeee are you there @SteveBarclay?
2+ weeks since you were last around
OUR (not your) NHS is in crisis.
This is your job. We know you're rubbish at it, but anyone else would be sacked for not turning up to work.
P45 for Steve?
As we say goodbye to 2022, The King’s Piper plays ‘Auld Lang Syne’ at Buckingham Palace.

As the first day of our historic strike action across England, Northern Ireland and Wales comes to a close, our General Secretary & Chief Executive @patcullen9 pauses to consider the political, personal and professional landscape.

Today our members' made history.
To all those who joined picket lines and stood in solidarity with nursing staff, thank you.
Until governments do the right thing by the profession and our patients, our fight continues.

The best way to keep people safe - whether that's those using the NHS or those working within it - is to invest in it properly. Maternity services are on their knees, Mr Barclay. Meet with us, with our members, and hear first hand what years of underinvestment has done.
@theRCN Definitely, as a midwife who won’t get the opportunity to do so, it’s important to support colleagues who can strike in an attempt to try and get positive changes for NHS staff and patients.
