End of last year we give green composting a go,it seems to have worked a treat. Clover, rye grass and mustard were sown. Really has helped maintain soil moisture and retained the worms too. 🤞we’re as successful as last year. #greenmanure #polytunnel #weedfree

#polytunnel has worked out great, all from seed and still producing. Beds outside too are dong well.. freezer is filling up, lost count of how many kilos of toms I’ve frozen. We’ve even given some away free from front of the gate.#smallholdinglife #freshfruitandveg #growyourcown

#polytunnel filling up as we take out some of the veg planted in spring. melons,cucumbers peppers and aubergines going in as they get to the right size.Leeks,cauli, cabbage,sweetcorn,pumpkins, sprouts,radish,beets,parsnip,turnip all out too.good job we like veg! #livingthedream

Took us 4 days to clear this of brambles, self seeding saplings and cut the hedges back. The fence is in great condition and hasn’t seen the light of day in some 6 yrs !.. now to decide what to with it .. #thinkingcapson #yorkshirecoastlife #pigs #sheep #bees #ducks

@FrimblesFarm I say the same for medication.. so many blister packs ! In some cases they only hold 6 tablets.. I’m on life time medication and hate trying to get them out of the blisters. Don’t know how the elderly cope with them.. go back to little plastic bottles, which could be recycled.
