The U.S. Department of War has identified two Army soldiers killed in Saturday night's Iranian ballistic missile attack on Muwaffaq al Salti Air Base, Jordan:
• 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii
• Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19, of Carrollton, Texas
Notably, the casualties were officially attributed to Operation Inherent Resolve rather than the ongoing campaign against Iran, reflecting the operation under which they were deployed rather than the circumstances of their deaths.
Today at 6 p.m. ET, U.S. forces began launching new airstrikes against Iran at the Commander in Chief’s direction. The strikes are designed to further degrade Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and swiftly punish Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces who launched attacks against American service members in Jordan last night.

TAMPA, Fla. — On July 17, two U.S. service members in Jordan were killed in action as U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and partner forces defended against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. Additionally, one service member is currently missing.
Four American service members were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals. They have since been discharged. Other personnel who were evaluated for minor injuries have returned to duty.
Out of respect for the families, CENTCOM will withhold additional information, including the identities of the fallen warriors, until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified.
@apollo_soyuz Hell yea, I heard it and ran outside I’d never heard a plane that loud and knew it was some kind of jet, and it wasn’t on the flight radar when I checked glad you caught it thanks 🙏
Anyone in or near the Pittsburgh area wtf was that plane that just flew by that sounded like a military jet I can’t see though because of the air quality
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) began another round of strikes on Iranian targets approximately 30 minutes ago. This is the fifth consecutive day/night of airstrikes.
